IN THE IMMANUEL HEALING PROCESS:
•Jesus can guide the recipient and facilitator from the current symptoms to the underlying traumatic memories. •When blockages have been removed, it is always possible to perceive the Lord's presence with us in our traumatic memories. •The living Jesus is uniquely effective in helping the person complete the unfinished processing tasks in traumatic memories. •Many things (bitterness, psychological defenses, un¬confessed sin, demonic interference, etc.) can hinder the healing process, but it is possible to identify and address these hindrances with the Lord's direction and assistance. •The Lord always facilitates healing once the interfering problems are resolved •The Lord is able to and wants to resolve each wound to the point that the traumatic memory is healed and completely peaceful and calm. •Symptom relief is a good gift from the Lord, but the most important objective in all of this is to remove the blockages that hinder our hearts from being in the presence of Jesus.
Immanuel isn’t just a teaching on inner healing; it’s a pathway of practical hope whereby we can see Jesus as He is and be changed:
“Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when we see Him, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is (1 John 3:2).”
Dr. Karl and Charlotte Lehman coined the term "Immanuel Intervention" to describe what happened when their trauma counseling changed its focus from the trauma memory itself to focus on removing blockages that kept people from ex¬periencing the relational presence of Jesus. It has long been observed by people in prayer ministry that traumatic events share a common absence of the active presence of Jesus and traumas resolve when people experience Him

Jesus came to be Immanuel, God with us. He alone meets every need and heals all. The Immanuel Experience is about knowing and experiencing Him in moments of appreciation and personal encounter. It’s about developing intimacy on a daily basis. “Then you will experience for yourselves the truth, and the truth will set you free.” ~John 8:32
The primary goal of Immanuel prayer is to see Jesus for who He really is.
We learn to experience Him in the past and in the present. The other goal is to gain secure attachment with the Lord.
Secure attachment is:
1. When we look for Him we always find Him.
2. When we find Him, He is always happy to see us.
3. He always has the answer for our problems.
We discover that He alone is the answer.
It’s about a living relationship with the Saviour. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever, and His heart’s goal has never changed: He is preparing a bride that will know Him and experience that unconditional love and return that love with a grateful heart.
Immanuel helps you to grasp and live the concept of the “‘with-God life’ - a model for seeing the whole of Scripture as the unfolding story of God’s plan for a loving relationship with our Creator.”
